Last night after work I climbed up "lions head" a 600m steep mountain right in the centre of cape town. Thats the most amazing thing about cape town, it has a mountain range cutting right through it. It means that at any time of the day, where ever you are, if you want to get away from the city you can be at the top of a mountain in about an hour!

We walked right to the top of the stony spire at the top of the hill. From there you can get amazing 360 degree views of cape town, western cape, table mountain and the vast atlantic. We were there for sun down, which was one of the most beautiful sights i've ever seen. The next two pictures and video dont quite do it justice!
